Courtney Cox shares emotional post as Friends finale completes 20 years
One of the most iconic shows ever in history, Friends’ last episode aired 20 years ago on May 6, 2004. The sitcom had millions of fans across the globe and actually lost a few friends the day the show ended.
Actress Courtney Cox who played Monica on the show took to social media to commemorate the 20 year anniversary of the show’s end. She shared a reel which showed the sitcom’s final scene in Monica’s apartment and the cast taking their last-ever bow.
The show ran for 10 years and also starred Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry. The anniversary was even more special as cast member Matthew Perry, who played the beloved Chandler, passed away last October at the age of 54.
The show still remains the favourite of many and continues to have the impact it did when it aired regularly from 1994 to 2004.
